PROCESS
1. Thinking about each like and dislike visually- Where does this take place? What needs to be there? Are there props
What will the camera see?
2. Consider lighting! Consider yourself as a performer! These are statements about you and you may appear in the video
3. Create a shot list/storyboard
4. Record your 5 second video
5. Analyze your videos
6. Repeat- you will certainly learn something from the first attempt which is important for the second
7. Edit your recordings together in Premiere Pro
8. Bring your audio composition from Audition into Premiere and make any necessary adjustments
9. Export your finished video with sound as a .mp4 file (H.264 codec)
OBJECTIVES
Gain experience with recording video
Comprehend basic video terminology and concepts
Gain experience with professional video editing software
Evaluate and demonstrate consistency (lighting, color, transitions, size, etc.)
Understand different types of shots and their relationship to visual storytelling
PROJECT OUTCOMES FOR PORTFOLIO:
Edited video with sound, approximately 30 seconds
